BBQ Hire Information

Thank you for booking a BBQ pitch at the park

Useful information

Times: Daytime bookings are 10am – 4pm. Evening bookings are 5pm – 10pm. Please ensure your pitch is vacated at the end of your hire period to allow the rangers to prepare for the next booking. Thank you.

What is provided: Each pitch has: a BBQ hearth, at least one large picnic bench and space for fun and games. Please Remember to bring your own food, utensils, charcoal and garden furniture. You are welcome to bring small, self-assembly gazebos for shelter*.

When you arrive: Your pitch will be unlocked, clean and ready for use. The map below shows the location of each pitch and details of all surrounding facilities which you may find useful.

Before you leave: Please tidy all your rubbish and place it in the bins provided, which are in the Toplands car park. There’s no need to remove the hot coals – please just flip the lid to cover the coals before you leave.

Parking

Normal parking charges apply. The closest pay machine is in Toplands car park next to the toilets which is adjacent to the BBQ field. Please pay at the end of your stay - just before you leave the park**.

**Think you may need to leave the park at some point during the day to collect more supplies or pick up friends and family? Instead of paying each time you leave - you can select and purchase ‘Full day’ parking at the pay machine. Just select this option at any time after the first 30 minutes of your stay (and before you leave the park for the first time) and you’ll be able to come and go – as you please – for the rest of the day.

*Only small gazebos are permitted and limited to one per pitch. It must be under 4m x 4m and not encroach on any neighbouring parties.
